Whether you’re covered by Medicaid or need assistance through our Charity Care Program for uninsured, low-income, adult patients, we’re dedicated to helping you get the care you need.

HEALTHCARE SERVICES

Medical Care

We provide primary and specialty medical care through a combination of staff providers and dedicated volunteer physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and specialists. When services are not available in-house, we coordinate low-cost or no-cost referrals through Cape Fear HealthNet and other regional hospitals and physicians for uninsured patients.

Dental Care

Our clinic features two fully equipped dental exam rooms. Volunteer dentists offer care 3–8 days per month, providing:

  • Exams, X-rays, and extractions
  • Limited restorative and preventive care for patients managing chronic diseases

These dental services primarily serve uninsured patients, though Medicaid patients may be seen under special circumstances.

Pharmacy Services

Eligible uninsured patients can receive many non-controlled prescription medications at no cost through our in-house pharmacy, when prescribed by one of our providers. We also assist patients in accessing medications through Patient Assistance Programs (PAPs).
For medications not available at our clinic, patients may purchase them at outside pharmacies or use their Medicaid benefits.
